Significance of the Logo
The theme of Hybrid Medics (Theme A) is the “collaboration between the Medical and Engineering fields”. “Collaboration” indicates harmony or a sense of connectedness. The elements are Medical – M and Engineering – E. The logo forms an “M” on the left and an “E” on the right through which a “D” is formed. The “D” signifies “Doctorate” (Ph.D.), that is a “Medical Doctorate” and an “Engineering Doctorate”, thus the logo symbolizes a “Hybrid Medic” as being the realization of nurturing “Medical – Engineering hybrid professionals” which is abbreviated to “Hybrid Medics”.
