I see engineering as understanding the characteristics and mechanisms of people, animals and plants, and being able to reproduce, supplement and/ or enhance them. A variety of medical instruments have been created to assist medical doctors’ diagnoses. Nagasaki University is committed to nurturing medical staff with a sense for engineering and engineers with a sense for medical issues, in short producing multidisciplinary Hybrid Medic Professionals.
