Nagasaki University will develop an integrative undergraduate and postgraduate training system with the aim to train general practitioners that examine patients from a wide perspective, in collaboration with local medical institutions, municipalities, and different specialists.
Undergraduate training includes community care practice, and all medical students attend the comprehensive community care training to learn the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration through community training and coeducation of medical and welfare systems. Furthermore, we aim to develop management and integrative diagnostic skills through postgraduate clinical research and continuing education.
